Orange County passes ban on retail sale of dogs, cats and rabbits

On Tuesday, the Orange County Commission voted on a proposed ban on the retail sale of puppies, kittens and rabbits. The ban passed in a 4-3 vote.It will take effect in June 2022. The maximum penalty for violations is $500 per animal sold and each day a store remains open.
