The Thibodaux Police Department is lifting an alcohol ban for retail stores beginning Monday, but a curfew still remains in effect for the Lafourche Parish community.In a statement released Sunday, a spokesperson for the police department said the alcohol ban will only be lifted for retails stores.Businesses with a license to sell alcohol but are not considered retail stores will still need to adhere to the alcohol ban, the police department said.The alcohol ban was issued alongside a parish-wide curfew from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Officials said the curfew will remain in place until further notice.”With assistance from a number of law enforcement agencies, this curfew will continue to be strictly enforced,” the police department said in a statement.Updates from the TPD can be found online.
