Sephora, Lucid Motors, Bowlero I Miami Worldcenter

Beauty retailer Sephora, luxury electric car company Lucid Motors and entertainment complex Bowlero inked leases at Miami Worldcenter, the mixed-use development in downtown Miami.

Sephora will occupy 6,000 square feet along the 7th Street Promenade fronting the development’s World Square public park and plaza. Lucid Motors is taking a 23,000-square-foot space along First Avenue and 10th Street, where it will set up a service center and delivery center. Bowlero will offer bowling, arcade games, dining and live entertainment in a 31,000-square-foot space that will be part of a glass-enclosed retail building also fronting World Square, according to a release.

CIM Group, a partner in Miami Worldcenter, and the Comras Company, are leading the development’s retail leasing.

The $4 billion Miami Worldcenter spans 27 acres and 10 city blocks. It includes the completed 60-story Paramount Miami condo tower, the 43-story Caoba apartment tower and roughly 150,000 square feet of retail. The 43-story Bezel apartment tower and 351-room citizenM hotel are expected to be finished this year. Another 130,000 square feet of retail is underway.

The entire project’s master developer is Miami Worldcenter Associates, led by Art Falcone and Nitin Motwani. Over the years, they have sold off pieces of the development site to developers building different parts of the project.

In total, 90,000 square feet of retail space has been leased, including previously announced restaurants Maple & Ash and etta, and Miami Chef Michael Beltran’s Brasserie Laurel and El Vecino.

TravisMathew, Windsor, Donna Karen and More I Town Center at Boca Raton

Men’s clothing retailer TravisMathew, and women’s apparel store Windsor are the latest tenants that have opened at Town Center at Boca Raton.

TravisMathew is at the Nordstrom Court; and Windsor is near Bloomingdale’s.

The Town Center mall has lined up other tenants, including Donna Karen, which is expected to open in October near Bloomingdale’s; and bubble tea bar The Juicy Bubbles, which also is planned to open in October, near The Container Store. Later this fall, The Blue Dog Cookhouse & Bar is expected to open near The Container Store; and diamond shop Crown of Light plans to open near Bloomingdale’s, according to a release.

Athletic clothing brand lululemon is finishing the expansion of its space this fall, and jewelry store Mayor’s is finishing the remodel of its space this winter.

Miami Sweet I Aventura Mall

Interactive candy store Miami Sweet, designed as an experiential retailer, will open in a 12-room, 20,000-square-foot space at Aventura Mall, according to a release.

Jackie Sorkin’s California-based Candy Kingdom, in partnership with entrepreneur Jay Yadon, are opening Miami Sweet. Sorkin also is co-founder of Candytopia.

Miami Sweet will be open from 3 p.m. Oct. 15 through February 2022. Tickets are $29 per person.

Anatomy I City Place Doral

Health and wellness brand Anatomy plans to open its fifth South Florida location in a 14,000-square-foot space at CityPlace Doral. The fitness center is opening at 3450 Northwest 83rd Avenue in late spring or early summer 2022, according to a release.

Luis Guevara of Chariff Realty Group handled the deal.

Anatomy was founded in 2014 by Chris Paciello and Marc Megna. Both are co-owners, along with David Geller.

Its other local sites are in Miami Beach, at 1220 20th Street and at 2341 Collins Avenue in 1 Hotel South Beach; at 3415 Northeast Second Avenue in Midtown Miami; and at 3385 Pan American Drive in Coconut Grove.

Developed by Jorge M. Pérez’s Related Group and project partners, the $800 million CityPlace opened in 2017 and spans 55 acres. Aside from retailers and restaurants, it had more than 1,000 residential units, including 150 single-family houses developed by Shoma, 700 apartments and 320 condos.
